5. Claim Submission Requirements: After reporting the sale, the dealer must submit all required documents without errors/missing
documents, through the Incentives Management Console. Ensure you submit immediately after reporting the sale, in order for the
claim to be reviewed and any corrections are made BEFORE the deadline. The last date to fix any issues is the Final Claim Correction
Deadline outlined in the Incentive Provisions.
a. The Code will be required during the IMC submission to validate eligibility. Claims processors will verify the code matches the
individual on the RDR and/or the name on the Sales Contract. If there is no match, it will be failed and further documentation
required, as noted below, and must be fixed before the deadline.
b. Sales Contract/Agreement (mandatory): Full Bonus Amount disclosed and customer signature. If there are other incentive
amounts being stacked, combine them for simplicity for the customer, but in the submission to IMC, please itemize (showing

6. VWGoA Employee Terms & Conditions:
a. VWGoA employees must accurately state who the certificate is for under the “Requested For” field.
b. VWGoA employees are limited to five (5) certificate print outs per month, totaling sixty (60) per year.
c. VWGoA employees are prohibited from accepting any form of compensation from Volkswagen Dealerships, anyone connected
with the dealership or any Friends & Family participant for sponsoring Friends & Family Purchases. This includes cash payment or
free or heavily discounted services, parts or accessories.
d. VWGoA employees are prohibited from giving a dealer permission to use their employee information for the dealer to sponsor
Friends & Family purchases.
e. The solicitation or acceptance of money, items of value or discounts from the Friends & Family price as defined in this document
from a dealer or anyone connected with or acting on behalf of the dealer in connection with the purchase of the vehicle under this
program is prohibited.
f. Any abuse or violation of this policy, the Friends & Family benefits or falsification of Friends & Family claim may result in
disciplinary action.

Friends & Family Program

1. Program Administration: The customer must provide proof of eligibility and supporting documents to the dealer at the time of sale
and it is the dealer’s responsibility to ensure the customer receives the benefit. Upon proper reporting and claim submission according
to program rules, the dealer will be paid.
a. The dealer must itemize the bonus separately from all other applicable incentives on the sales agreement.
b. Only one bonus is applicable per VIN.

Ineligible Occupations: Retired First Responders, Registered Nurse, Ski Patrol, Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)

5. Proof of Eligibility
Military
• Leave and Earnings Statement (LES) – Can be photocopied and submitted.
• Form DD-214 Veteran documentation to verify over 20 or more years of service.
• Customer must provide official documentation verifying active duty within 24 months, commonly the LES.
• IMPORTANT: DO NOT submit a US Military ID. We will not accept them as proof of eligibility.
First Responder • Department-issued ID (proving active employment). Certification documents will not be accepted.

NYSERDA Drive Clean Rebate

The Drive Clean Rebate offers electric vehicle (EV) buyers up to $2,000 off the purchase or lease of 60+ new EV models. New Yorkers may be eligible to combine an Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) tax credit of up to $7,500 with their Drive Clean Rebate for additional savings.

If you are a New York State resident, business, or government entity looking for a new car, it’s a great time to buy or lease a plug-in hybrid or battery-powered EV that qualifies for the Drive Clean Rebate.

How the Rebate Works
Participating car dealerships are responsible for applying for the point-of-sale rebate on behalf of the customer. The dealer reduces the EV sale price by the full Drive Clean Rebate amount, delivering an upfront discount to the customer.

The Drive Clean Rebate amount can range from $500 to $2,000 based on the model’s manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) and all-electric range.

Greater than 200-mile range: $2,000 rebate
40- to 199-mile range: $1,000 rebate
Less than 40-mile range: $500 rebate
MSRP greater than $42,000: $500 rebate

NYS Drive Clean Rebate

Program Administration: The customer must present their bonus code email or provide the bonus code to the dealer at the time of
sale and it is the dealer’s responsibility to ensure the customer receives the benefit of the bonus by disclosing the incentive on the
sales agreement. Upon proper reporting and claim submission according to program rules, the dealer will be paid.
a. Only the certificate addressee or family members that reside in the same household as the addressee are eligible.
b. Each Volkswagen Experience Bonus Code has a pre-determined expiration date that gives each recipient approximately 90 days to
redeem.
c. To support the intent of this customer bonus, each claim will be reviewed against our original email campaign data as well.

a. The customer must lease the new Volkswagen model listed below.
b. Only the employees or family members that reside in the same household as the addressee are eligible.
c. Rivian employees are not eligible for this incentive.

VW Partner Purchase

1. Program Administration: Volkswagen dealership employees will be eligible to lease or purchase an eligible Volkswagen model at 13%
below MSRP, defined as Base MSRP + MSRP of all options + destination charge (see below example.) If the dealership participates, it is
the dealer’s responsibility to ensure the employee receives the benefit. Upon proper reporting and claim submission according to
program rules, the dealer will be paid.
a. The dealer has final discretion on whether to sell a vehicle under the program.
b. During the reporting of the vehicle on OMC, the dealer must select the proper dropdown located under Incentive Details > Dealer
Special Programs > V26UDEPP - Dealership Employee Purchase Program.
c. Dealership employees are eligible to purchase up to five (5) VW vehicles per sales year through this program. Additional sales will
always require credit approvals if leasing/financing.
d. Employee may incur fees or penalties if there are early terminations with the lessor. Please review VWFS policies for more info.
Note: VWoA and VWFS reserve the right to audit and chargeback the incentive if abuse of the program is discovered. Dealers will
not be charged back on total loss vehicles paid off within twelve (12) months of funding date.

2. Eligible Vehicles: New, unused Volkswagen models, excludes Golf R.

3. Eligible Sales Type: KOS 0. Vehicles enrolled in the VW Customer Mobility Program and sold as KOS 6 or 9 are not eligible.

4. Eligible Customers: Employees on payroll of Volkswagen dealerships or auto groups holding a Volkswagen franchise are eligible. The
employee must be on the contract as a purchaser or lessee. Others may also be on the contract. There is no requirement on the order
in which co-signers are listed.
a. Dealer Owners/Principals: No paystub required, but a copy of the Sales Contract/Agreement required with notation calling out the
name of the Owner/Principal as the Owner/DP in order for claim processors to then validate with the VW Regional Office of
Owner/Principal status.

5. Program Compatibility:
a. This bonus amount may be used in conjunction with other VWoA and VWFS Programs (Lease/APR/Dealer Cash)
b. This bonus is not compatible with the following programs: Volkswagen Experience Bonus, Friends & Family, Partner, Private
Incentive, Dealership Sale Program, and Fleet.

6. Dealer Commitment: The Dealership agrees to contribute 100% of both above and below the line margin and earnings. This will be
accomplished in the following manner:
a. Dealership contributes 100% of trading margin and contributes 100% of margins earned at wholesale.
b. Dealership will not receive any earnings at retail for Delivery Allowance and Service Retention related programs.
c. Rate markups are not allowed.
d. Dealership Employee Purchase Program sales count towards the objective, but do not pay in volume-based programs.
e. After the sale, Dealership will be reimbursed 5.5% of the Total MSRP (not including dealer installed options).
f. No reimbursement of LMA/LMF/DMF assessments. The amounts will stay within their respective LMA/LMF/DMF budgets.
